Congrats to Lyman Good on his latest win in the Bellator Fighting Championships. From the Tiger Schulman website: "A special thanks also to all the coaches of Team Tiger Schulmann who have helped every member of the team make the most of their abilities, with a highlight on wrestling coach Rusty Reed. Both Rivera and Good used great wrestling in their victories and have been working with Reed regularly to sharpen their skills. Good will be fighting in round two of the Bellator Championships within the next month. Stay tuned for details of all upcoming fights for TSMMA."

The Renaissance Wrestling Academy was established in 2004 and had grown into one of the most highly respected wrestling schools in New Jersey. Due to popular demand, we have just moved to a new state of the art facility located at 485 Boulevard, Elmwood Park, NJ (the Tiger Schulmann's Corporate Headquarters Building). We are extremely excited to offer wrestlers what we intend to be the best wrestling school available. We welcome students of all ages and skill levels. Our goal is to bring a group of young wrestlers together and through hard work, discipline and technique, have them strive to be the best they can be in the great sport of wrestling.

Our instructional coaching staff is made up of exceptional coaches including high school state champions, state qualifiers, NCAA Division 1 Qualifiers and All Americans. We pride ourselves on successfully managing a smaller roster with individualized attention that allows wrestlers to grow by reinforcement of basic techniques and intense dedication to the idea that small improvements through persistent practice yield great achievements.

Comprehensive instruction on position, takedowns, escapes, reversals, riding and pinning are all part of the curriculum. We also provide guidance through power lectures. These lectures provide a unique edge on the mat. Topics we will cover range from goal setting, scouting an opponent, weight control and nutrition. All instruction is complete with drilling and situational wrestling with regards to setups, finishes and counters. Additionally specialty conditioning, strength training and live exercises round out the experience.
